Massage Session FAQ

What should I do to prepare for a massage session?

You may want to shower prior to your session, as sweat and dirt will mix with the oil/lotion, causing a gritty feeling on the skin.

Can I eat and drink before my massage?

Of course! But make sure not to eat a large meal or drink alcohol. Massage moves things around in the body and can make you nauseous and dizzy while your body is processing/ digesting.

What do I wear during my massage?

It is preferable that you set all clothing aside, including undergarments. This ensures that no oils/lotion get on you clothing. It also allows better flow so your therapist doesn't have to work around straps or underwear lines. Nothing private is ever exposed and you are draped and safely tucked in at all times.

Of course, you are welcome to undress to your own comfort level!

What is customary for tip/gratuity?

A 20% tip is customary, however, you are welcome to tip more or less, based on your service provider's performance. Your provider gets to keep the full tip, whereas most of the session price goes toward our overhead costs. Gratuity is very important to a small business!

How often should I rebook?

Our bodies are like cars: they serve as vehicles that get us from A to B everyday and need proper maintenance to keep then at optimal performance.

We recommend booking a session every 4 weeks (monthly) if you can.

Some clients book weekly or bi-weekly, while others do it once a season or for special occasions. Either way, your body is receiving great benefits every time you go!

What is your cancellation policy?

We get it, life happens!

48 hours notice is preferable so we can try and fill your spot. 24 hour notice is required to avoid being billed for your missed session. Rebooking will waive this fee!

What payments do you accept?

At the moment, we accept cash or VenMo.

As we grow, we will work towards using things like Square and other credit card services! Please let us know your preference so we can look into accommodating you.

Can I leave a review for my provider?

Yes, please!

Reviews are always welcome, and help us to improve our services. You can search us by name on Google, or click the Yelp icon at the bottom of the page to tell us how your session was.
